We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Technical Project Coordinator to support our internal technology and product delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day task management, escalating issues, maintaining the sprint board for development projects, and producing task progress reports.
This is an administrative role with a focus on day-to-day task management and project coordination. It requires a basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and curiosity to understand technical concepts to effectively support the team. The ideal candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to follow up assertively on task progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Task Management: Proactively manage and follow up on cross-functional tasks, ensuring timely progress and completion according to due dates.
Sprint Board Management: Diligently manage the sprint board daily, track progress, and ensure the visibility and accuracy of task status.
Production Support Coordination: Intake, route, assign, and escalate production support issues.
Status Reporting: Generate and distribute regular status updates and reports and other related documentation, to ensure transparency and clear progress communication to management.
Process Improvement: Take initiative in recommending opportunities to streamline processes, improve task management, and enhance overall team workflow.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a project coordinator, task management, or similar administrative role in a technology or software development environment.
Familiarity with agile software development lifecycle and proficiency in task management tools like Basecamp (or similar platforms).
Excellent organizational abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong initiative and ability to assertively follow up on tasks.
