As a Business Development Manager at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our sales force by recruiting experienced Mortgage Loan Originators and Sales Managers. Your focus will be on identifying top-tier talent, presenting the Mutual of Omaha value proposition, and building long-term relationships that lead to high-quality hires.
📍 This is an in-office position located in Seven Hills, Ohio. Remote work is not available for this role.
The Person:
Has 3–5 years of experience as a Director, Sales Manager, or in Business Development within the mortgage or financial services industry
Proven track record of success in recruiting top-performing mortgage sales professionals
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — persuasive, confident, and professional
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact office environment
Builds strong relationships and networks within the mortgage industry
Driven by results and motivated by compensation opportunities
Highly organized with strong follow-through
Has high character, integrity, and a collaborative mindset
Strong understanding of the mortgage sales cycle, licensing, and industry nuances
Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM platforms, recruiting tools, and lead tracking systems
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
