About the Role 
We're seeking a data-driven Product Manager who will ensure product success through rigorous monitoring, analytics, and measurement. This role is the guardian of product health and success metrics, using sophisticated monitoring tools and deep data analysis to verify features work as expected, launches succeed, and products deliver measurable value to customers and the business. 

Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring Product Success Through Analytics and Monitoring Tools 

  • Own end-to-end success metrics for products and features from conception through maturity 
  • Use monitoring tools and data analysis to validate that all product features work as expected 
  • Define what "success" means for each product initiative and measure it rigorously 
  • Drive product improvements and optimizations based on success metrics and performance data 
  • Design and implement comprehensive monitoring systems using industry-leading tools to track product health in real-time 
  • Monitor feature-level performance metrics to ensure all functionality operates within expected parameters 
  • Track error rates, latency, conversion funnels, and other technical and behavioral metrics by feature 
  • Lead root cause analysis and post-mortems when product issues arise 
Deep Data Analysis & Insights 
  • Leverage analytics tools and advanced SQL to conduct deep-dive analyses into product performance and user behavior 
  • Establish instrumentation standards and ensure complete feature coverage for all product functionality 
  • Verify feature functionality through analytics validation, identifying bugs, errors, and unexpected behaviors 
  • Create automated anomaly detection systems to identify when features deviate from expected behavior 
Product Launch Excellence 
  • Lead end-to-end launch planning and execution, ensuring launches meet success criteria 
  • Define launch success metrics and measurement frameworks before product releases 
  • Use monitoring and analytics to track launch performance in real-time 
  • Conduct post-launch reviews using data to assess success and inform future launches 

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of product management experience with heavy focus on analytics, monitoring, and measuring product success 
  • Strong Knowledge of Salesforce CRM 
  • Expert proficiency with monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Datadog, Pendo, Heap, Mixpanel, etc.) 
  • Advanced SQL skills and ability to independently query databases to investigate feature behavior and product health 
  • Proven track record of using monitoring tools and data analysis to ensure product features work as expected 
  • Experience setting up instrumentation, event tracking, and validation frameworks for product features 
  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches from planning through post-launch optimization 
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences 
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics) or equivalent experience 
  • Experience with statistical analysis and familiarity with Python or R for data analysis 
  • Background in building or managing analytics platforms and monitoring systems. 
  • Knowledge of data infrastructure, pipelines, instrumentation best practices, and observability tools 
  • Experience with product-led growth strategies and success metrics 
  • Familiarity with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools and practices 


What Success Looks Like 
First 90 Days: Establish comprehensive product health dashboards and monitoring  
systems, define success metrics for ongoing initiatives, use analytics to validate feature  
functionality, and successfully lead or contribute to a product launch with clear success  
measurement 

First 6 Months: Own the analytics and monitoring strategy for all product platforms,  
demonstrate measurable improvements in product success metrics, establish a track  
record of successful launches with data-proven outcomes, and be recognized as the go-to  
expert for product health and success measurements.
