We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead a team of Loan Officers.

Sales Manager - Our Mutual of Omaha Mortgage Sales Managers are responsible for managing assigned team of Loan Originators, and prospecting provided quality lead sources to obtain mortgage applications. Sales Managers will work closely with their Loan Originators and processing teams to ensure all documentation is obtained as the loan moves through the process to closing. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, have the drive and desire to succeed in a fast paced sales environment, and utilize strong time management skills with impeccable attention to detail. This is considered an inside sales management position.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay current and up to date with all loan program guidelines (FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC) and federal & state regulations
  • Assist team of Loan Originators with all related tasks to loan production
  • Review existing pipelines daily to expedite the loan process
  • Provide coaching to team members; listening to their calls and providing constructive feedback
  • Provide support to team of Loan Originators to help increase their personal and production goals
  • Review all loan files for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to processing
  • Provide assistance and correspondence to all departments on all loan applications
  • Contact borrowers to assist team with collecting required documents

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years recent experience as a Mortgage Sales Manager or Loan Originator with proven production history
  • Robust knowledge in FNMA/FHLMC and FHA/VA programs
  • Working knowledge of Encompass and Velocify (Leads 360)
