Job Title: Product Owner - Web Technology
Job Summary:  
The Product Owner - Web Technology is responsible for gathering requirements, prioritizing features, and driving the end-to-end project delivery cycle of our digital marketing websites, customer portals, and related integration platforms. This role is execution-focused, working closely with the product management and development teams to ensure the product backlog is refined, prioritized, and delivered according to business timelines and objectives.   The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding and experience in web technologies, user experience design, cross-platform API integrations, and data analysis.Responsibilities:
  1. Own the product backlog for web development projects, including new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. These platforms include our digital marketing websites, customer-facing portals, custom APIs, and integrated marketing technologies.
  2. Accountable to defining user stories, clarifying requirements, and ensuring the team builds features that meet the acceptance criteria and business objectives.
 
  1. Own the sequence of development tasks based on business value, readiness of requirements, feasibility, and task interdependencies. Work in lockstep with engineering to manage the timely and efficient delivery of new product features and ongoing enhancements.
  2. Own the end-to-end project delivery cycle. Function as the primary point of project contact between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring effective communication and progress on assigned projects. 
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders and designers to ensure intuitive and user-centered design for all user-facing and public-facing system interfaces.
  4. Collaborate with digital marketing and analytics teams to improve website conversion rates and enhance the website customer experience. 
  5. Stay abreast with industry trends and leverage analytical insights to evaluate and guide the priorities for website enhancements and features.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, or similar role in web development teams, operating in an agile framework.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, cross-platform API integrations, digital marketing, and user journey mapping.
  • Experience with Wordpress content management systems (or similar platforms).
  • Experience with web UX/UI design principles. Experience with user research, feedback collection, and data analysis to diagnose friction points and inform recommendations.
  • Analytical and Data-Driven.  Proficiency with SQL and web analytics tools to query data, understand performance metrics, and translate data into recommendations for actionable improvements.
  • Technical Communication Proficiency. Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to grasp and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem Solver: Proactive in identifying issues and recommending courses of actions.
  • Highly Organized and Detail-oriented. Meticulous with project details with a strong ability to organize and stay on top of project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
