Job Description:
This position is for a Marketing Operations Manager to help our marketing team be more efficient and strategic through effective project management, budget oversight, marketing analytics and reporting, and management of Marketing, technology, systems and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Five9 platforms and interactions between all.
- Run monthly marketing operating reviews with the marketing team, presenting progress against KPIs/goals, campaigns, and project status.
- Managing the website in terms of functionality and improvements
- Monitor and track key performance indicators
- Analyze data, assess trends and optimize performance
- Maintain Salesforce database quality
- Supporting email nurture campaigns and building distribution lists in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Investigate new marketing technologies
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring the marketing team is tracking all spend and alerting the team to any over/underspending so we can make informed decisions.
- Develop a monthly dashboard of metrics/KPI tracking, with insights into trends and a post-mortem on any increasing or decreasing metrics.
- Analyze data, assess trends, and determine actions to optimize performance.
- Run weekly marketing meetings using Basecamp as the reference point, encouraging accountability to update all projects and keep everyone on track.
- Forecast, measure, analyze, and report channel and program performance and their impact on marketing and sales funnel conversion rates, sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length.
- Develop SOPs for major marketing processes, and ensure they are kept up to date.
- Organize and maintain clear file structures for the marketing organization.
- Evaluate and manage marketing vendors and contractors.
- Maintain knowledge of how all Marketing and technology systems work together to ensure a clean, smooth, flow of data and that all required metrics are captured.
- Understand and monitor the costs of marketing activities.
- Manage the websites for Mutual of Omaha Mortgage
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline
- 3-5 years of marketing operations experience
- Has experience with Wordpress (required)
- Has experience with Salesforce (required)
- Has experience with Five9 (preferred; not required)
- Has experience with reporting and analytics
- Is proficient in MS Office
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Is team-centric
- Has the ability to prioritize tasks
- Has strong organizational skills
- Has a highly developed attention to detail
- Experience with marketing automation, budgeting, and project management platforms
- Ability to analyze and interpret data with accuracy
