Overview

We are an established mortgage lender seeking a Marketing Strategist to lead and evolve our digital marketing strategy across SEO, Online Reputation Management (ORM), and marketing automation, with Salesforce CRM as the foundational platform.

This role is designed for a strategic marketer who thrives in structured environments but brings an entrepreneurial mindset, someone who takes ownership, identifies opportunities for improvement, and modernizes systems while respecting regulatory, brand, and operational standards. You will set direction, manage execution, and lead a small team or external partners to deliver measurable, sustainable results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the strategic roadmap for SEO, ORM, and marketing automation
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability
  • Translate business objectives into clear priorities, KPIs, and execution plans
  • Lead, mentor, and hold accountable internal team members and external partners

SEO Strategy

  • Develop and oversee enterprise-grade SEO strategy (technical, on-page, off-page, and content)
  • Guide keyword and competitive research aligned with mortgage borrower intent
  • Improve organic visibility through site optimization, content strategy, and governance
  • Monitor algorithm changes and industry trends; recommend data-driven adjustments
  • Own SEO reporting, insights, and continuous optimization

Online Reputation Management (ORM)

  • Lead ORM strategy to protect and strengthen brand credibility at scale
  • Establish structured monitoring, response, and review-generation processes
  • Ensure ORM efforts align with compliance, brand, and governance standards
  • Address reputational risks through ethical, sustainable visibility strategies

Marketing Automation & Salesforce CRM

  • Serve as the marketing owner of marketing automation systems & platforms
  • Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and clear lifecycle visibility
  • Design and optimize marketing automation workflows integrated with Salesforce
  • Evaluate, select, and manage marketing automation platforms as business needs evolve
  • Build scalable frameworks for segmentation, nurturing, and performance tracking

Mortgage Industry & Compliance

  • Apply strong knowledge of mortgage products, borrower journeys, and regulations
  • Ensure all marketing strategy and execution meet regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Balance innovation with risk management and operational discipline

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEO, ORM, and marketing automation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience integrating marketing automation platforms with Salesforce
  • Mortgage or financial services industry experience (required)
  • Experience managing people and/or external partners
  • Analytical, structured, and metrics-driven approach
  • Comfortable operating in regulated, enterprise environments
