Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Social Media Coordinator to help drive our corporate social media strategy while supporting our localized efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial industry and be passionate about using social media to build brand awareness, engage with customers, and reinforce our mission of helping people achieve financial success. You will be responsible for expanding upon our existing social media strategy and helping grow our presence across multiple platforms.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Strategy Development:
    • Assist in developing and executing a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with corporate initiatives and localized efforts.
    • Ensure social media campaigns reflect our mission and brand values while engaging and educating our audience.
  • Competitor Research and Trend Analysis:
    • Conduct ongoing competitor research to stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms within the financial industry.
    • Identify new opportunities for engagement and content based on market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Content Creation:
    • Develop and produce engaging social media content, including Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
    • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly content creation, curation, and scheduling for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
    • Create innovative ideas to bring creativity to the mortgage and real estate world, helping Mutual of Omaha Mortgage stand out in a crowded market.
  • Channel Ownership:
    • Develop strategies for creating our presence on Pinterest and other relevant platforms, tapping into these communities to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • TikTok Strategy:
    • Craft and execute a compelling TikTok content strategy that resonates with the financial services, mortgage, and real estate communities, as well as current and potential homebuyers.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media initiatives align with the organization’s vision and objectives, resonating with target audiences.
    • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Brand Awareness:
    • Drive growth in brand recognition and audience engagement across all social media channels.
    • Engage with the online community by responding to comments and messages, fostering meaningful relationships with followers.
  • Campaign Support:
    • Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns supporting product launches, events, and charitable initiatives.
    • Track campaign performance using analytics tools and generate reports to measure success and ROI.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze social media content performance using KPIs and metrics.
    • Present monthly reports with key insights and areas for improvement, recommending strategies for increased engagement and growth.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of proven experience in social media management and marketing strategy, preferably within a financial institution, with a proven track record of growing and engaging audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
