As a Business Development Manager at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our sales force by recruiting experienced Mortgage Loan Originators and Sales Managers. Your focus will be on identifying top-tier talent, presenting the Mutual of Omaha value proposition, and building long-term relationships that lead to high-quality hires.
📍 This is an in-office position located in Seven Hills, Ohio. Remote work is not available for this role.
- Has 3–5 years of experience as a Director, Sales Manager, or in Business Development within the mortgage or financial services industry
- Proven track record of success in recruiting top-performing mortgage sales professionals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — persuasive, confident, and professional
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact office environment
- Builds strong relationships and networks within the mortgage industry
- Driven by results and motivated by compensation opportunities
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Has high character, integrity, and a collaborative mindset
- Strong understanding of the mortgage sales cycle, licensing, and industry nuances
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM platforms, recruiting tools, and lead tracking systems
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Base salary plus commission — total earnings typically exceed $100,000+ annually
