Job Description:

The Marketing Operation Manager is a hands-on role, accountable for managing the day-to-day operations and healthy functioning of our marketing platforms, processes, and databases. This role owns the marketing operation function and ensures that our marketing infrastructure, data quality, and processes are running optimally to support marketing performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Data & Operations Management
    • Own the day-to-day operations of core marketing technology platforms, including but not limited to CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation, Five9, Zendesk, DataGrail, PowerBI, and other related platforms.
    • Oversee dashboards and reports to proactively monitor the health and performance of core platforms and integrations.
    • Maintain Salesforce data quality. Manage data hygiene processes, including deduplication, validation, enrichment, and regular audits of contact data.
    • Monitor and track key performance indicators. Analyze data, assess trends, and determine actions to optimize marketing performance.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and analytics teams to ensure contact data are usable and accurate for effective targeting and reporting.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, technology, and external vendors to ensure that our platforms evolve with business needs.
    • Function as the first line of marketing platform support to triage production problems and drive diagnostics and resolutions with vendors or technology teams.
  • Marketing Management and Campaign Support
    • Work closely with the marketing channel managers to support campaign execution, marketing automation workflow implementation, list loads, data segmentation, and data synchronization between Cirrus Insights, Customer. IO and Salesforce CRM.
    • Run monthly marketing operating reviews with the marketing team, presenting progress against KPIs/goals, campaigns, and project status.
    • Run weekly marketing meetings, keep projects on track, and encourage accountability to project due dates.
  • Process Improvement
    • Develop and maintain SOPs for core marketing processes.
    • Identify and implement improvements to marketing operations workflows.
    • Regularly evaluate platform usage and performance, identifying opportunities to automate processes, streamline data flows, and reduce operational inefficiencies.
    • Evaluate vendor solutions and provide input on innovative technologies or enhancements to existing platforms.
    • Facilitate user training and documentation of procedures, ensuring all team members are proficient with platform capabilities and operating practices.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience managing marketing operations, with hands-on experience in overseeing marketing technology platforms; preferably Salesforce, marketing automation (Cirrus Insights, Customer IO), telephony systems (Five 9), and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, including user management, data hygiene, report generation, and campaign workflow automation.
  • Analytical and Data-Driven. Experience using reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce Report). Ability to query data, understand performance metrics, and translate data into recommendations for actionable improvements.
  • Problem Solver. Proactive in identifying issues and implementing appropriate courses of actions.
  • Collaborative. Strong team player and project manager who can drive actions with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related disciplines
